I bought a new camera today!

Jack isn't so thrilled though. He challenged me to make some great photos with the camera I have already. Remember the camera I bought in '04? I wanted to post the before photos. I even did some image editing on them because I wanted you (Jack) to know that I worked really hard on the old photos and then you'll (he'll) see the new photos and know that I made a great purchase. The pictures you'll see in the slideshow below are with my old camera. A Kodak DX6490. Cord Camera will call me when my new camera is in. A Nikon D40. I intend to post when the new camera is in. I promise not to work as hard with my new camera so you'll (he'll) know it was a great decision. (Quite frankly, we did some great work with the old camera if you asked me.) Here's the deal with the slideshow. You'll see the original shot, followed by the edited shot. I can't wait to post the shots with the new camera when it gets here to show you (him) how much better the shots are!

It's a shame the models weren't here (Samantha, Corey, and Paige) because then you'd get some real photo gems to go along with the battle that has ensued in my home!

Update: 8:51PM. We took one more picture. We love this one because we were trying to capture the beauty of our rings, but our rings didn't come through. Our intertwined hands are what came through so clear. I realize Jack won this battle, but I'll win when the new camera comes!
