Old Home Movies

Yesterday, I attempted to tackle transferring old VHS home movies on to DVD. Lets just say after some serious frustration, I managed to get 6 hours worth of video on to a DVD. Seems like a lot, but that was only from Aug 1997 to December 1998, so only a little over a year. I think I know what I'm doing now, and I've figured out that I don't necessarily have to watch the home movie in order to transfer it over. I can simply watch TV. Oh well, practice makes perfect right? Anyway, I was able to cut a piece out I thought you might like to see. It is of Corey and Paige's first birthday party. I spliced out the part where they are enjoying their birthday cakes that we gave to them. For some reason the sound didn't come through, but you can still get the gist of what is happening. Hopefully soon, I'll figure out how to get the video and audio off the DVD and on to here so you get to enjoy all the conversation as well. A little more practice, but rest assured there will now be video here on occasion!
