From the kids' point of view

I normally make it a point not to blog more than once a day, but I can't resist. A friend of mine sent me these questions to ask the kids. I brought all three of them in separately and asked them these questions.  Then I brought them together to hear one another's answers.  What a giggle they got out of each other's answers as well.  Enjoy the answers.  These are classic!

I asked each of the kids these questions. For Samantha I replaced "mom" with Jennifer.

1. What is something mom always says to you?

Corey: I love you
Samantha: Hi
Paige: Honey

2. What makes mom happy?

Corey: Getting jewelry
Samantha: The Buckeyes
Paige: Chocolate oranges

3. What makes mom sad?

Corey: Death
Samantha: Bad grades
Paige: This one's a hard one.....when we don't bring home our lunchboxes?

4. How does your mom make you laugh?

Corey: By telling jokes
Samantha: Saying funny words
Paige: By saying a funny joke

5. What was your mom like as a child?

Corey: I don't know
Samantha: She had a dog named "Blackie"
Paige: You were an only child so you were probably lonely

6. How old is your mom (I'm actually 34)

Corey: 35
Samantha: 35
Paige: 33

7. How tall is your mom? (I'm 5'7")

Corey: 5 foot something
Samantha: 6'7"
Paige: 4'7"

8. What is her favorite thing to do?

Corey: Go down to the cabin
Samantha: Go shopping with us at Easton mall
Paige: Watch superbowl Sunday

9. What does your mom do when you're not around?

Corey: She's usually at work
Samantha: Probably hang out in her office
Paige: Work

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? (This cracks me up)

Corey: Making lots of money out of banking
Samantha: Being a supermodel
Paige: Being an Ohio State Buckeye Quarterback

11. What is your mom really good at?

Corey: Banking
Samantha: Working and Shopping
Paige: Your job

12. What is your mom not very good at?

Corey: I don't know
Samantha: She's not good at missing a football game.
Paige: Being an actress

13. What does your mom do for a job?

Corey: Bank
Samantha: Work at Huntington
Paige: you're at Huntington and you work as a person

14.What is your mom's favorite food? (It's mac 'n cheese)

Corey: Seafood
Samantha: Ribs
Paige: Chicken

15.What makes you proud of your mom?

Corey: Cause she can support the family and we have a nice place to live
Samantha: That she's got a great job and personality
Paige: When you got a degree in something

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?

Corey: Dora the Explorer because you're always exploring new places.
Samantha: Sandy from Sponge Bob
Paige: Mickey Mouse

17. What do you and your mom do together?

Corey: Usually go out to eat
Samantha: Go shopping at Easton Mall mostly.
Paige: Play games

18. How are you and your mom the same?

Corey: We both are interested in some of the same stuff
Samantha: We both like going shopping a lot.
Paige: We both share the same genes like blue eyes and the same hair color

19. How are you and your mom different?

Corey: You're female and I'm male
Samantha: What we look like
Paige: You're older than me

20. How do you know your mom loves you?

Corey: cause you express that.
Samantha: I can see it
Paige: When you hug me

21. What does your mom like most about your dad? (Samantha answered about Jack and Corey and Paige answered about Chris)

Corey: Don't know
Samantha: He's funny
Paige: How he takes care of us

22. Where is your mom's favorite place to go?

Corey: Florida - to Disney World
Samantha: Shopping at Easton
Paige: Old Bag of Nails restaurant
